Each year, Suffolk AME proudly awards the Marge Kearney Scholarship to the children or grandchildren of our members, honoring the life and lasting legacy of Marge Kearney, a passionate advocate who dedicated herself tirelessly to improving the lives of all her Suffolk AME brothers and sisters. This scholarship is a way to celebrate Marge’s contributions and support the educational goals of our members’ families.
► Scholarship Details:
- Who is eligible? Children or grandchildren of Suffolk AME members.
- Enrollment requirement: Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited institution of higher learning for the Fall 2026 semester.
- Application period: August 3 through August 31, 2026.
- Deadline: Completed applications must be returned to Suffolk AME Headquarters by Monday, August 31, 2026.
- Award selection: All scholarships will be awarded by lottery.
