Suffolk AME represents a diverse workforce across more than 30 unit boards, including both blue- and white-collar employees. Despite varied roles, their strength comes from unity. In your essay, discuss the importance of solidarity in the labor movement, focusing on how bridging divisions—by job, department, or background—can strengthen unions. Provide examples from labor history or current events where diverse worker solidarity achieved success, and explore challenges and strategies for building unity across varied workforces.
