Suffolk AME is developing a video campaign to raise public awareness about the financial challenges faced by county workers due to low salaries paid by the county. We are seeking dedicated members to volunteer to share their personal experiences on camera.
Why Participate? These videos will feature candid stories about how low salaries have impacted your life and livelihood. Your firsthand account will put a human face on the struggle behind the statistics and demonstrate why fair compensation is essential—not only for you but for the health and well-being of all Suffolk County residents.
Who Can Participate? To ensure a diverse and representative campaign, we will be selecting volunteers by department. Our goal is to highlight a wide range of titles and units across Suffolk AME. While we may not be able to include everyone who applies in this initial launch, your name will be kept on file for future campaigns.
When and Where? Recording will take place at AME Headquarters, offering a comfortable environment for you to share your story openly and honestly. If you are selected to film a video, we will reach out via email to schedule a time.
