We’re excited to announce that this year’s Annual Suffolk AME Member Picnic will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at a brand new location: Cathedral Pines County Park!

This fantastic family-friendly event promises a day full of union solidarity, fun, and celebration sponsored by Suffolk AME with partnership support from our Unit Boards. You can look forward to food, entertainment, and activities the whole family will enjoy. 

► Please note:

• Food arrangements are handled by Suffolk AME, so it is CRUCIAL that members RSVP to their Unit President by August 14, 2026 to ensure accurate headcounts and a feast fit for everyone. Find your Unit President’s contact information by clicking here to view the flyer. 
• As always, all guests aged 21 and over must present a valid picture ID to receive a bracelet for alcoholic beverage consumption.
• In adherence to Parks Department rules, no animals are permitted at the picnic.

While we’ve made some updates to this year’s event, including the new venue, rest assured these changes were thoughtfully planned to promote unity and create an enjoyable, welcoming atmosphere for all.
