With Unit Board elections scheduled for Spring 2027, Suffolk AME is seeking six (6) volunteers to serve as members of the Unit Board Nominating Committee and the Election Committee that will help oversee the process.

Each committee will consist of three (3) members. The committees will assist Suffolk AME during Unit Board nominations and elections and will work with the Recording Secretary throughout the process. Selected members will be granted administrative leave for those hours during which they will serve, as needed.

NOTE: The individuals who serve on these committees are not eligible to run for office in the Unit Board elections in 2027.

If you are interested in serving on either of these committees, you must notify AME by noon on Thursday, October 22nd.

Committee members will be chosen from the pool of names submitted and contacted. These committees serve a vital purpose in ensuring the proper administration of the nominating and election process for AME.
