Essay Topic: Influential Leaders in the Labor Movement: Analyze the Impact of a Key Figure on Labor Unions and Workers’ Rights
Select a notable figure from the labor movement—either from the past or present—and examine their contributions to advancing labor unions and workers’ rights. Discuss their background, the challenges they faced, and the strategies they used to organize workers, advocate for labor laws, or lead significant campaigns. Evaluate the lasting impact of their work on the labor movement and how they helped shape the conditions of today's workforce. Examples might include figures such as Mother Jones, A. Philip Randolph, or contemporary leaders.
