Every year, the Suffolk County Marathon brings together runners and supporters to raise crucial funds for local veterans and veterans organizations. This event not only celebrates endurance and community spirit but also makes a meaningful impact on the lives of those who have served our country.

In strong support of our Suffolk County veteran community, Suffolk AME is proud to not only be a sponsor of the event, but we will also sponsor 30 Team AME runners for this year’s marathon. By standing together with our local veterans, we reaffirm our commitment to honoring their sacrifices and enhancing the resources available to them through this important annual event.

Are you interested in joining Team AME and running alongside us? We welcome Suffolk AME members and their families to participate, as we strive to make a difference both on and off the course. The 11th Annual Suffolk County Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, Sunday, October 19th, and the 5K will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2025.

Please note, this opportunity is exclusively available to Suffolk AME members and their families, and is limited to the first 30 runners who register.

The registration deadline is September 26, 2025. Should we fill all 30 runner spots before the deadline, registration will close early, and we will notify all interested parties.
